Campus Career Influencer

The Campus Career Influencer Program targets faculty and staff who have a compelling interest and commitment to the development of student career readiness, in addition to academic excellence. Faculty and staff partners are provided the tools to strengthen their career knowledge and become an extension of the UA Career Center within their college or department, in order to impact first destination results. The Influencers collaborate with the Career Center to promote career awareness and competencies through personal interaction with students and recruiters, provide career counsel to student organizations, and serve as a Career Center liaison for their respective college faculty and staff.

Who They Are

The University of Alabama Career Center strives to support all UA students in their journey to develop professionally, explore career paths, and to gain confidence in work readiness skills. Our Campus Career Influencers are instrumental in the quest to serve students across campus and serve as partners in sharing our story with students.

Beginning in 2021 the Campus Career Influencers initiative was created to honor the outstanding partners on campus who consistently demonstrate a commitment to sharing the story of UA’s Career Center.  These individuals are friends, colleagues, and true ambassadors to broaden the depth of outreach to all students. Through collaboration Influencers promote career awareness and competencies through personal interaction with students and recruiters, provide career counsel to student organizations, and serve as a Career Center ambassador for their respective college faculty and staff.

Influencers are recognized annually for their continuous support of UA’s Career Center, participation in campus events and sharing the Career Center message within their colleges, departments and constituents.
