Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions
When you rent items from the Denise and Chandler Root Crimson Career Closet (DCRCCC), you agree to the following:
I accept full responsibility for the care and security of the attire while in my possession, from the time I leave the DCRCCC until I return with the attire.
I will not launder or alter the items borrowed in any way. I understand I am to return the attire as is and that the attire will be dry cleaned by the DCRCCC on my behalf.
I will reimburse The University of Alabama for any loss or significant damage to the items entrusted to me.
The fee for loss and/or significant damage to items is up to $75.00 per item damaged or not returned.
I understand that I am to return the items in good condition 7 days from rental date unless granted an extension in writing by the DCRCCC’s Manager. All items are to be returned to room 3400 in the UA Student Center by 4:00 PM on the designated date to avoid additional charges.
After 5 days of no return, the agreement will be considered delinquent and the borrower will be charged up to $75.00 per item damaged or not returned. “Failure to return the borrowed attire listed below by the designated due date may result in transfer of the charges to the undersigned student’s accounts maintained by the Office of Student Account Services. This action will prevent subsequent registration, graduation, and transcript issuance until the matter is cleared. The amount is also subject to attorney’s fees, and other costs and charges necessary for the collection of any amounts not paid when due.”
I forfeit all privileges offered by the DCRCCC until all previous rental agreements are satisfied.
I verified that the telephone number, email address, and campus wide identification (CWID) number provided are valid and that I can be reached by any of these methods of communication.
I have read and agree to all terms of this loan agreement.
