Career Advising

The University of Alabama students and alumni can seek guidance with selecting a major, planning a career, developing job-search strategies, and more. Call, email, or drop by our main office in 3400 The University of Alabama Student Center or visit one of our satellite locations: The Career Center at Culverhouse, 149 Bidgood Hall; Career Center at C&IS, 104E Reese Phifer Hall; or the Engineering Career Development Center satellite office in 2004 H.M. Comer Hall.

Group and Class Presentations

Our staff welcomes opportunities to speak to classes and student organizations regarding career preparation, graduate school planning, and services we offer.

Assessments

Our career consultants are able to help you assess your interests, preferences, values, and skills and will discuss with you how these personal factors influence your career planning.

Career Fairs

The fall and spring career fairs are great opportunities to learn more about future employers.

Interactive Services

Interactive services we offer include virtual mock interviews.

Peer Advisors

Peer advisors are trained to assist with career-related matters such as resumes, cover letters, and interviewing. Peer advisors are available at various times during the week for individual conversations and class or group presentations.
