The Career Champion Partner Program is a special initiative of The University of Alabama Career Center that provides specific opportunities to enhance an organization’s recruiting efforts and brand recognition on campus. Participants in this program will enjoy increased student awareness of their organization, opportunities to interact with students, personal introductions and connections with key faculty and professional assistance developing effective recruiting strategies and programming.
To become a Career Champion Partner, companies pledge support of $12,000 per year for three years. The benefits that our Career Champion Partners receive include:
Career Champion funding supports career-readiness programming for students at The University of Alabama. One program supported by the Career Champion Partners is our Crimson Career Closet, which houses professional clothing that students and alumni can borrow at no cost. This program benefits students who may struggle to afford the professional clothing they need in order to participate in career fairs, networking events and job interviews. Another championed initiative is internship stipends to support students with unpaid or low-paying summer internships. This initiative makes it possible for students to accept unpaid or lower-paying internships that would give them invaluable work experience while continuing to support themselves financially.
