Students and alumni can RSVP in Handshake for a basic headshot session on Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. in the Career Center main office (3400 Ferguson Student Center).
To make an appointment for a 10-minute slot, visit Handshake (http://ua.joinhandshake.com), UA’s new jobs portal and appointment scheduler. Headshots are listed under “Discuss LinkedIn or Handshake accounts” then “LinkedIn headshot.” Try to schedule appointments 24 hours ahead of the requested time.
The basic headshot has a solid neutral background. Subjects are asked to wear or bring an interview-appropriate outfit for the photo session; typically, subjects are photographed from the waist up or higher.
