Cassie Horkan

Cassie is a junior marketing major from Hartland, Wisconsin. She became a Career Center Peer Advisor so that she could help her peers improve their professional skills while gaining professional experience of her own. Her dream job is to work for a company that will allow her to travel, have a flexible schedule, and lead a team in marketing something she is passionate about. Her favorite thing about UA is the incredible support system she has built on campus. When she’s not in class or at the Career Center, Cassie loves baking and decorating cookies!

Margaret Grayce Joyce

Margaret Grayce is a sophomore criminal justice major from Bentonville, Arkansas. Her dream career is to be a criminal prosecutor because she loves law and wants to make a difference in her community. Margaret Grayce decided to become a Career Center Peer Advisor because she wants to help other UA students find their career path in the same way that the Career Center has helped her find hers. When she’s not in class or at the Career Center, you can find her at a UA football game. Roll tide!

Josh Lambert

Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Josh is in his third year at UA. He is a civil engineering major whose dream is to one day own his own company. He decided to become a Career Center Peer Advisor because he enjoys helping others succeed and reach their goals. Josh’s favorite thing about The University of Alabama is the school spirit and the sense of connection it brings the students. Fun fact about Josh – he has a green bird named Kelly!

Jeweles Moton

Meet Jeweles Moton! She’s a junior who came to UA from Oceanside, California. She’s majoring in management information systems. For Jeweles, a dream career is one where she can earn a comfortable living for herself and her loved ones while making a difference for others. Jeweles decided to become a Career Center Peer Advisor because she recognizes how important career development is for all majors – from art to engineering. She says the Career Center has helped her on her own career path, so she wants to help give that experience to other students. If Jeweles is helping you with your resume, you won’t have any spelling errors… she won six spelling bees in her youth!

Genna Yonge

Genna is an Alabama native who grew up in Fairhope. She’s a senior majoring in international studies, and she loves to travel. She once took a surfing class – for college credit – in San Sebastian, Spain! Genna’s dream job is to be a director of a campus office at a university because she wants to dedicate her career to helping students navigate college. She decided to become a Peer Advisor after spending a semester working in the Career Center editing resumes online. She says: “I love the supportive environment of the Career Center and how each employee is dedicated to helping students achieve success, and I wanted to continue being a part of the team!”
