The University of Alabama Career Center hosted its Spring 2017 Career Fairs at Coleman Coliseum on Feb. 8 and 9, drawing hundreds of students and more than 200 employers to campus for the biannual General Interest & Business and Technical & Engineering events.

UA also hosted its third Diverse Reverse Career Fair in the Bryant Conference Center, featuring 11 diverse student organizations presenting to representatives from several different companies.

The Spring 2017 Career Fairs at Coleman Coliseum were sponsored by Neptune Technology Group, GEICO Careers, and the UA National Alumni Association. Social media posts used the hashtag #UACareerFair on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Student attendance: 2,071 (1,207 for General Interest & Business, a 20% increase from Spring 2016; 864 for Technical & Engineering, a 10% increase from Spring 2016)

Employer involvement: 190 unique organizations over the course of two days (112 for at General Interest & Business, 100 for Technical & Engineering)

On-Campus Recruiting: 319 interviews were conducted following the two fairs
