The Career Center Peer Advisors are undergraduate students who are trained to assist current UA students and alumni in their career endeavors. They have been trained by our Career Consultants on many aspects of the career-planning process. As current full-time students themselves, Peer Advisors are in a unique position to assist their fellow students in the Career Center, because they utilize the same services!
One of the key services provided by the Peer Advisors is resume walk-in hours for students in the Career Center Main Office (3400 Ferguson Student Center). During these hours, students can drop by without an appointment to have a resume reviewed by a Peer Advisor. To take advantage of this service, check our Resume Walk-In Hours for this semester!
Career Center Peer Advisors are also trained to present on career-related topics to groups of students. Peer Advisors can present on Career Center services, resume writing, and interview success. You can request a group presentation by submitting the Group Presentation Request form.
